Yesterday was my last day of the juicing challenge.

I will continue to eat a plant-based diet and will continue to lose weight.
My mom is continuing on for another 30 days.
I am excited to try new vegetarian recipes and have a new found appreciation for a good soup.

Today is special because Bob Marley was born on this day and I wanted to pay tribute to him.
As I got ready, I was listening to the Bob Marley Pandora station. He told me to “Lively Up Yourself!”

I have a bottle of L.A. Colors nail polish in “Black Velvet” that just sat there looking at me for years and this was my first time using it. I really like their formula and am pleasantly surprised. It is creamy like China Glaze and dries quickly. They sell them at my local Dollar General and that’s part of the reason I never gave it any love. I thought the color would be sheer and chip easily since its super cheap.
But I should know from Sinful Colors and WetNWild that the least expensive brands can be some of the best kept secrets.

The rhinestones are actually heart-shaped, not sure if you can tell but I’m thinking of doing junk nails soon. I need some supplies. I’ve also seen a few people use eyeshadow and clear polish so look for these in the near future.
